Desneiges (Deni) Murray
Ecosystem scale research on nitrogen cycling and hydroclimate-biogeochemical feedbacks.
My research centers around understanding the sources, composition, and ecological impact of atmospheric organic matter and nitrogen deposition in the face of global change.
This work integrates a range of themes, including atmospheric and aquatic chemistry and modeling, hydrology, stream ecology, and data science.
While my current research emphasis is on wet deposition, I have extensive experience working as an aquatic biogeochemist and ecologist around the world, including in mountain stream environments in New Zealand and beaver ponds in the western U.S.
